OPEN HARVEST 

Open harvest is a series of collaborative works made with handmade banana paper and fiber. 

This collection of mixed media sculptures was created with in collaboration with print maker and book artist, Leslie Smith. 

This work was created over the pandemic and is a series of 2D and 3D works made from locally harvested banana fiber.

Select works from Open Harvest were featured in the following art galleries and publications: the Atlantic Gallery's Works on Paper  (2021),  and featured in Fiber Art Now Magazine Excellence in Fibers IV (2022), Open Harvest: Future Transmission was awarded the Materials Sourced from Nature award from the Chattahoochee Handweavers Guild (2021).
